Aberdeen Beach and Queen’s Links is a well loved and extremely popular recreational area of the city. Only a short distance from the city centre the area is close to sporting and recreational facilities such as the Ice Arena, Transition Extreme, 18-hole golf course and the Beach Ballroom. There is also a fantastic adventure playground for children of all ages.
Where the River Don meets the sea at the northern end of the links and promenade, the bay provides ample opportunities to see waders, terns and seabirds. Seals have also been spotted using the sand near the mouth of the river.
A great place for ice cream, family fun, food, walks and jogging.
Please note: there is a dog exclusion zone on the sea shore between groynes 6 and 13.
