Aberdeen City Council uses the information you provide to respond to enquiries relating to Aberdeen Art Gallery and Museums.
How long we keep your information for
We keep personal details for six months after the enquiry has been responded to. We keep anonymised data for 12 months after the enquiry has been responded to, for reporting purposes only.
Your data will be stored on secure servers by our online customer service supplier.
Your rights
You have rights to your data, including the right to ask for a copy of it. See more information about all of the rights you have. You also have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office. That is the body responsible for making sure organisations like the Council handle your data lawfully.
Our legal basis
Aberdeen City Council is the Data Controller for this information. Wherever the Council processes personal data, we need to make sure we have a legal basis for doing so in data protection law. The Council understands our legal basis for processing personal data in relation to enquiries regarding Aberdeen Art Gallery and Museums as Article 6(1)(e) of the General Data Protection Regulation as this activity is part of our public task.
