Museum Supervisor

I work between all Aberdeen Art Gallery and Museums venues. However I spend the majority of my time based at the Maritime Museum working closely with the front of house team.

Myself, the other Museum Supervisors and our Museum Manager look after the security of all the venues. We organise staffing levels, the safe hanging/ re-hanging, removal, packing and transport of artwork/ objects within the permanent collection. My colleagues and I also deal with any other issues that may arise in terms of care and maintenance of the buildings, Fire regulations, Health and safety requirements and evening/weekend functions.
