Inspired by Aberdeen Art Gallery’s Feasting gallery, join this online exploration of art, scent and sound in the company of curator Morna Annandale and food historian Tasha Marks of AVM Curiosities, champions of food and fragrance as artistic mediums.
Share in Morna’s passion for applied art as she takes you on a virtual tour of the art of the table in our Feasting gallery. Beautiful, unusual and useful objects from the displays will be brought to life through a selection of scents specially chosen for the event by Tasha and delivered to you in advance.
Tasha Marks has been described as “the love child of Leonardo Da Vinci, Willy Wonka and Ferran Adria.” With AVM Curiosities she has created sensory experiences for the likes of the Victoria & Albert Museum, The National Gallery and The British Museum.
So make a date! Invite some friends over, hang the fairy lights, pour your favourite tipple and get ready to enjoy an online sensory sensation!
The small print:
The Feasting Virtual Aroma Tour will be live online. Only one ticket per household needed and booking closes on Thursday 15 July.
Scent packages will be posted to ticket holders ahead of the event. The scents are quite strong, so only one pack per household is required. Scents, postage & packaging are included in the ticket price. Please include your address when booking your ticket. Open to UK residents only.
