Ade Adesina was born in Nigeria in 1980 and studied Fine Art at Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen (2008–12). He is known for his ecologically themed linocuts, woodcuts and etchings. Some of these are on a scale which pushes the limits of print-making techniques. His work has been exhibited worldwide and he is the recipient of a host of awards. He was elected a Royal Scottish Academician in 2017.
