The Friends of Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museums provide vital support for our work, helping us to acquire works by leading artists and makers and objects connected to Aberdeen’s heritage, as well as commissions, conservation and family activities.
Come along to enjoy the festive atmosphere of the Art Gallery in this special weekend of activity supported by the Friends. Explore the collection with our free family trail, learn how to create colourful decorations or join us for a special winter wander topped off with seasonal treats.

Deck the Halls workshop with Gabi Reith

Learning space, pay as you feel
Drop-in to this workshop to make a unique festive ornament with Small Stories designer Gabi Reith. Create, illustrate and embellish a sustainable wooden hanging decoration with recycled and found materials.
Suitable for everyone from age 8 to 80. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Winter Wander with the Friends
