Sessions can include a mixture of music, dance, crafts and games. Enjoy exploring the Art Gallery, getting creative and having lots of fun together. Expect something different every time.

This month Guthrie is joined by Diana Peers of Once Upon a Tune. Together we’ll sing, play and listen to stories about kings, queens and castles.

Up in the Clouds
Join Guthrie for a playfully relaxing session exploring clouds. Search the Art Gallery for artworks featuring stunning skyscapes get stuck into loads of of creative activities in our Learning Space.

Crafting Colour
Guthrie introduces youngsters to the vibrant world of colour! We’ll go on a colourful treasure hunt around the Gallery before heading to the Learning Space for some hands-on colourful fun.

The Shape of Things
Shapes are everywhere we look. We’ll explore the different shapes that we can find in the Gallery, before getting creative by playing with shapes in our dedicated messy space.
Suitable for pre-school children aged 2-5 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
On arrival, head straight to the ground floor Learning Space, just off Gallery 2.
We recommend bringing spare clothing for these messy sessions.
