Take a look around our 360° virtual tours of Aberdeen Art Gallery and Aberdeen Maritime Museum allowing you to virtually walk around, discover more about the buildings and some of the highlighted objects on display. The tours include audio in a variety of ‘voices’ to share an interpretation of our collections.
We cannot replace real-life experiences and want you to visit us in real life but these tours can still give a sense of place, a feeling that as a virtual visitor you can control your own experience.
Aberdeen Art Gallery
Each of our 18 collections galleries has its own story to tell. The ground-floor Sculpture Court is a good place to start, then move to Gallery 1: Collecting Art - but you can start anywhere by selecting the gallery you want to see via the menu or the floorplan..
We have changing exhibitions/displays in Gallery 2 and 3 on the ground floor, Gallery 19 and in the BP Galleries on Level 2, therefore what you see in the virtual tour may not be what is currently on display. The tour is to give a visualisation and sense of space in these galleries.
Please check our What's On page to find out what is currently on display.
Aberdeen Maritime Museum
Our themes on display in the maritime museum tell stories about our Harbour, Fishing, Whaling, Shipbuilding, Clippers, Wrecks and Rescue, North Boats, Oil and Gas and Representation of Ships.
Look out for some of the highlighted objects on display where you'll find out more about them.
Please check our What's On page to find out what is currently on display in the Special Exhibition Gallery on Level 2.
