Welcome to artists Lennox Dunbar and Arthur Watson as our Guest @ Gray’s speakers, who with Ian Howard are featured in our current exhibition, Constructed Narratives. These three major Scottish artists all attended Aberdeen Grammar School and were greatly influenced by visits to the Art Gallery as students. Picking up on this theme Lennox and Arthur take us on a journey through their artistic careers stopping off along the way at Gray’s School of Art and Peacock Printmakers, founded in 1974. This talk will give insight to each artist’s practice, highlighting early work, influences and new work specially made for the Constructed Narratives exhibition.
