These relaxed dementia-friendly sessions bring people together to share stories and be part of a community. Linked to our collections, these sessions offer chances to explore our exhibitions, learn more about our city, handle real museum objects and reminisce.
These sessions are not dementia exclusive and are designed to foster togetherness and allow those affected by dementia, including carers and family members, to meet others and enjoy our spaces. Events are led by our team and experienced volunteers. No need to book, just turn up and join in.
This season, we get our hands on history with our Treasure Boxes. Telling the story of our city these boxes contain real museum objects which we can hold and see up close.
