Enjoy the many benefits of regular creative activity in the company of others at Aberdeen Art Gallery. Led by experienced staff and volunteers, these relaxed workshops are perfect for finding inspiration for your creative projects, learning a new skill or to enjoy meeting new people. Bring along a current project or start one on the day. No experience required – all abilities and skill levels welcome.

 

Embroidery and stitch textiles
Friday 15 July
11am–12.30pm, free
Explore the tactile benefits of embroidery or stitch textiles inspired by the many beautiful textile objects on display in Aberdeen Art Gallery. Work on an existing project or begin making a small Christmas gift.

 

Gallery sketching

Step back in time to the medieval era and sketch treasures from the Galloway Hoard.
If gallery sketching is your thing, keep an eye out for Inspired Gallery Meets regular Paul, who is often found sketching in the galleries on Friday mornings and will be happy to help you find your hidden sketching talent.
