Formal Learning Officer

My main duty is to work with the school groups that visit our venues and ensure they have an enjoyable and educational experience. I devise and deliver a year long series of facilitated workshop that we offer, free of charge, that will compliment our temporary and permanent displays. Self service visits are enhanced by providing information on our venues, topic related worksheets and if possible by sorting out lunch spaces. The school holidays, which should be a period of evaluation and forward planning, often get taken over by play-schemes and public sessions.
