Born in Kazakhstan, Alim Beisembayev is a BBC New Generation Artist 2023–25. He made his Royal Albert Hall BBC Proms debut in summer 2023 performing Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 2.
'The Guardian' newspaper praised him as a “real musical personality”, and the 'Wall Street Journal' spoke of his performance as “high-powered”, “fiery” and “shimmering”.
The concert will be recorded for broadcast on BBC as part of their New Generation Artists programme.
