Aberdeen-based composer Joe Stollery has composed music inspired by three paintings in the Aberdeen Art Gallery: 'The Twa Corbies' by Campbell Lindsay Smith, 'Afterglow' by Joseph Farquharson and 'Tussle for the Keg' by John Pettie. These three pieces will be introduced by the composer and performed live, in front of the paintings, in Gallery 9 of the Art Gallery, featuring Catherine O’Rourke (alto flute), Joanna Nicholson (bass clarinet), Guera Crockett (violin) Lucy Webster (bassoon) and Alison MacDonald (cello).
